Why do I need to verify my identity?

Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, people who form, direct, or significantly control UK companies must verify their identity. Forming companies for others is also regulated under the UK money laundering rules, so we carry out identity and anti-money-laundering checks as standard.
